Love and Patience

Lately God has been showing me his love a lot through opportunities of being patient. I know like any good father he always shuts and opens doors at the right time as well as sharpens me through my closest relationships. 

I think about what he has for me in the future and for this band and I find myself blown away by the promises he has spoken to me in regards to The Neverclaim. At times though I find myself anxious and ready to take over the world but God challenges me, " In due time Son." One of the things I am learning more and more is being patient with Life and God always works. I'm not joking, it really does. When anxiousness comes in our lives and challenges us to move forward in our vision, don't be deceived. In times like that, the blessings or the promise can consume you and take your attention away from your one True Love, Jesus! God never calls us to work for him. He cannot, because his character goes against that. He always ask us to work WITH HIM instead. Because he is so intentional about intimate relationship with him. As Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5, we are,"Co- Laborers." When we work for him, we try to make things happen by our strength and become vulnerable to pride. But when we work with him, he shapes and molds us, moving us forward in his promises, in his time, so that when we find ourselves standing in the midst of his promise we can confidently say, Glory be to God! Without hesitation.
